How to get blacklisted

Get a tender from a governmental department.
Fail to deliver as per contractual agreement.
Give the concerned department the runaround.
The department sends your name and that of the company's to the provincial treasury for blacklisting.
You are given time to say why this should not be done.
If you don't offer valid reasons, you and your company are blacklisted in terms of Treasury Regulations 16A 9.1 (c).
A blacklisted contractor has the right to contest restriction in a court of law.
Entities can be restricted for a period not exceeding 10 years.
You are no longer allowed to tender.
