Extension of Closing Date: Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of a suitable multi-disciplinary built environment service provider, including the OHS agent, to provide professional services in planning, designing, and monitoring of construction for the Material Recovery Facility (MRF), composting facility and other supporting structures in Kouga Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape Province, for a period of thirty-six (36) months. Scope: The appointed service provider will be expected to deliver the following: - Development of a site masterplan (including site survey); - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 500m² dirty Material Recovery Facility (dMRF) and it’s process flow; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 220m² administrative and training block accommodating three administrative offices, one boardroom (10 persons), one training room (20 persons), ablution facilities with 4 x toilets, 2 x showers and 2 x change rooms, and a hot water supply, and parking facilities; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 500m² composting and chipping site; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 9m² guard house; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 22,4m² ramp/drop-off platform; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of a new 1930m long x 2.4m high horizontal high security wall panels (6m slabs in H columns) fencing and automated gate for the MRF and the landfill site; - Planning, design, and monitoring of an off-grid solar power system installation; - Planning, design, and monitoring of the installation of electrical reticulation; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction of the sewer and water reticulation infrastructure; - Planning, design, and monitoring of construction for the installation of a new 18m x 4m weighbridge.

Quotations are hereby invited for solar panel cleaning. Scope of Work: Supply and delivery of a solar panel cleaning solution for commercial solar panel tables. Depending on the season and prevailing site conditions, approximately 5-6 hours of the shift shall be allocated to productive panel washing. The cleaning of the 37,800 PhotoVoltaic (PV) modules shall be undertaken using manual telescopic water-fed solar panel brushes, in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Trina Solar, module cleaning recommendations and the approved site cleaning methodology. The cleaning operation shall be conducted during the cooler periods of the day to minimise thermal stress on the PV modules. A total shift duration of 9 hours shall be allowed, including water-bowser filling, equipment inspection, preparation, mobilisation, cleaning, water replenishment, and demobilisation.
