Tenders are hereby invited for appointment of a service provider for the supply and installation of a solar system at Augrabies Falls National Park.
Scope:
The scope of work is to appoint a service provider for the supply and installation of a solar system for Augrabies Falls National Park in the Blouputs area as per specifications listed.
The Blouputs outpost is ± 40km from the rest camp:
• 1 x 16kW Deye inverter (NRS 097 approved inverter) or similar;
• 3 x Deye 16.1 kWh Lithium batteries or similar;
• 24 x 590 Watt solar panels;
• Aluminium Ground mount structure for panels (mounted in concrete);
• 1 x change over switch between the solar system and Eskom;
• 1 x Insulated panel building for housing the inverter and batteries.
Dimensions as follows, 1.8 meter long x 1.2 meter wide x 2.1 meter high:
• Manufactured from 100 mm insulated panels;
• Personnel door;
• Roof;
• Floor, concrete or galvanise;
• Must include vents for natural ventilation, must keep flying and crawling insects and animals out.
Balance of AC and DC system.
Adequate AC and DC protection:
• Includes 60 meter AC cable;
• AC Tie into existing Eskom connection, allow for 2 x 60 Amp 2 poles circuit breakers.

Bids are hereby invited for Tweekuilen Farm: infrastructure service: installation of fencing, irrigation and solar connections.
Scope:
The works comprise the repair, rehabilitation, supply, delivery, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of fencing and agricultural water supply infrastructure.
The project includes the integration of new infrastructure with existing infrastructure available on site.
Tenderers shall attend the site clarification meeting and familiarise themselves with the existing infrastructure, site conditions, connection points, access constraints and the extent of repair and integration work required.
The works generally comprise:
• Repair and rehabilitation of existing fencing and installation of new fencing sections over an approximate combined length of 7 200 m;
• Supply and installation of one (1) 11 kW solar-powered water pump and integration with the existing water and solar infrastructure;
• Supply and installation of one (1) 11 kW inverter and integration with the existing solar infrastructure as well as the installation of lithium batteries with 10KW storage capacity;
• Supply and installation of approximately 2 300 m of 63 mm Class 12 PVC branch pipeline;
• Supply, delivery and installation of four (4) water storage tanks;
• Supply and installation of ten (10) livestock water troughs;
• Supply and installation of four (4) backwash valve assemblies and associated valve block accessories;
• Supply and installation of drip irrigation infrastructure, including two (2) control valves;
• All associated civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and connection works;
• Testing and commissioning of the complete integrated system.
